Re watching Mac highlights. His NFL ceiling is just under a highway overpass. Good processor but not enough arm strength at his given mobility.

IMO I think Kyle was pretty truthful this week and basically said they want a high ceiling high trait QB and are willing to pay Jimmy $27M this yr to be the bridge QB, you're not doing that if you're picking Jones

I'm not buying that. We are 2 years removed from the super bowl and Jimmy got us there. You don't go into the season thinking a rookie QB is going to take you there. That's just not practical if you are trying to win now.

Again with this rift thing? Maybe it´s good news? After all, last time there was that rumor we went to the Superbowl 8 months later.

Agree, but maybe Adam Peters (or even Paraag) - or somebody else - other than ShanaLynch is having doubts. It will be a very interesting rest of the month till the draft, for sure.

Trubisky and Mac had roughly same amount of college starts. Mac had his starts with a field of all-stars.

How does one assess that before a single snap has been taken in the NFL?

That's exactly my point about all 3 sitting for a year even if Mac is most pro ready
