It seems the last Pro day Jones had will be the final time that Kyle sees Jones throw which was like a month prior to the draft. He will be seing Fields and Lance closer to draft day. I wonder if that means anything. There has been a couple of people saying Jones to the Niners is a done deal. Well if it was a done deal, Why is Kyle booking another session with both Fields and Lance?
I am still hoping for Lance despite knowing he will take longer than the others but I am ok with that because we have a QB for 2021. I will be happy also with Fields. I would even be ok with Jones if they trade back and get some of that draft capital back or a stud player. They could trade back with the Panthers and still get Jones at 8.

The same GMs, scouts and coaches who will tell you only 2 of these top 5 QBs draft will still be starters in 3 years. So let's mitigate those odds by taking the least talented QB, but don't worry he has all these attributes you can measure but trust us he has them because he won a national title with the most talented team in college football throwing screen passes.
throwing screen passes? you obviously have never seen him play, and yet you're in here, a message board thread complaining about him
watch this video, he's making all types of throws, and it's just 1 game, against a great football team and the biggest game of his life:
For all of his gushing, even this guy says he wouldn't take Mac Jones in the top 10 lol
But a couple good examples of him getting to his secondary reads and being accurate down field. He's a good QB, no doubt. I think the stuff about him being leaps and bounds better than everyone else at processing the field is overblown. Would I jettison my league average starter and mortgage my future for him? No, but I'm in bed posting on a fan page for a reason

I will say it again that if the Niners never traded up nobody would even be talking about Jones going in the top 10. I never heard a peep from any media outlets when we were sitting at 12. We trade up and all of a sudden Jones is a top 3 prospect.

Disagree, he mentions the Jets needing a QB and the fact that he doesn't know Sam Darnold's status and he says the Jets might need a QB like Mac. So yes, in essence he does say that he *would* go top 2 in the draft for all intents and purposes.

Well they've done a good job in bamboozling me. That's for sure. I think they are going to pick Mac.

Are we watching the same video? He literally says 'i wouldnt necessarily take him at number 2 from a value standpoint" and then argues that teams could trade down and still get him

He says *it's pretty Dope* and his cursor was pointing at the Jets? Jets at number 2. Why would he point at the jets if he didn't feel the Jets could pick him?
