Mac Jones-QB-Jaguars

He's the PRODUCT of being in a system with UNRIVALED talent at the skill positions and offensive line. It covered his mistakes. He is a mediocre QB at best who got the opportunity to throw the ball and hand off to multiple Heisman candidates with future 1st round picks blocking for him. Stick him on Iowa State or Wisconsin and we'd be talking about him on the 2nd or 3rd day, where he belongs.

well perhaps kyle agrees

So just buy it using your normal checking account. Don't end up trading your house for it.

Another great JTO breakdown.

What were his QB rankings of the top 5 QBs. Would be fun to know.

Man if I was as down on Jones as you guys all are I'd be losing sleep every night the next three weeks.

Thankfully I can just relax and be good with whoever we pick.

I'm fine with any of the 3 QBs.

He seem really confident:

"That they're drafting Mac Jones," former NFL executive Mike Tannenbaum said on the latest episode of "49ers Talk," "and they see Mac Jones like Matt Ryan, Matt Schaub and Jimmy Garoppolo.

"They got a young guy who's really smart and accurate with the ball who's functionally athletic enough. I would be shocked if they don't draft Mac Jones with the third pick."

There's a reason he's a former gm.

He's a horrible insider and former GM. He's been wrong so many times.

they see him as Matt Schaub or Jimmy hahaha WTF is that? Not a single person is giving up 3 1sts for those guys....ever!
Matt Maiocco made some sense. His theory is that SF has 3 QBs they really like and 2 of them are Lawrence and Wilson because why would they sit at #3 and not be prepared to draft Lawrence and Wilson if they drop to 3? They can't simply pick them based on them magically dropping to 3. They MUST be prepared to draft them if they drop. This means those are 2 of the 3 they like.

Now who's the 3rd. Well, there's only one other QB that fits most of the traits Wilson and Lawrence have and that's Mac Jones.

The Part 4 analysis. Man, Jones average passing pocket has a radius of 6 yards.

Jones was refusing to throw the ball to windows that would be considered wide open in the NFL.

Lol still hope we draft Fields though.

I'm just not going to go into a rage if Jones is the pick. I'm just happy we are going QB in round 1.

How are Wilson and Mac similar?
