Why are people posting quotes from everyone under the sun, while ignoring what Kyle has said about the QB position (and Lynch for that matter) for the last 6 months?

If Kyle was only about a pocket passer why was CJ Beathard his target in 2017? Why not Davis Webb or Brad Kaaya?

Listening to Chapman's podcast last night and he said it best … paraphrasing here: The reason you hear Mac Jones is the pick is because these analysts and GMs are doing paint-by-numbers thinking. They see what we have at QB now and think we'd just plug in the same kind of guy.

I can't see them passing on Fields at #3.

I simply refuse to believe the most innovative play-caller in the NFL can only have a "system quarterback" and cannot use a ridiculous top end talent at QB.

Now that even Schefter is beating the drum for Mac Jones, I've accepted my fate. I'm going to start selling myself on Mac from here on out.

to be fair there are still people who are torn on who they want at 3...but most people know it's not Jones lol.

I did a quick check and Jones' thread was at 235 pages when the trade happened. Fields' was at 88. So I was partially right with this one being the most active before the trade but it didn't lose much steam after the fact getting 258 pages since. Fields only got 175 after it.
