I'm curious how many people who are for Jones at #3 are saying it just because they're worried about it happening and they don't want to cry?

I don't think any of these QBs will fail in SF, I think the most innovative play-caller in the NFL should be able to take a high trait/ceiling QB and turn him into a star.

I guess he's just not in the same league as Andy Reid or really his father.

it's funny how kyle talks about needing a healthy QB...he's gonna go with a squishy under sized QB with not real escape ability to protect himself. he's gonna toss him back behind our OL, which he clearly values movement/speed vs being able to anchor and block in PP.

jones isn't gonna make it through a 16 game season not a chance.

Hero, NY. You guys are trippin. It's not gonna be Mac. Don't listen to the media noise. Trust your knowledge in what we know about Kyle and his words regarding how his evaluation of QBs has changed. How he wants a prospect that has the potential to be elite.

problem is kyle is never gonna pay up for good anchoring pass-protectors...especially in the interior.

The thing that makes me nervous with Kyle is that he's won at a high level when coaching QBs that he either didn't select(Matt Ryan) or weren't his 1st choice(Jimmy G).

With the Niners all we have to go on is CJ Beathard...which doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

Lol that was my theory. They almost took a RB at 31 last year. Mostert/Wilson are only signed through 2021...they have more picks then roster spots.
