"Golly gee" on an incompletion?

That's what Andrew Luck and Phillip Rivers said so not a good endorsement. I do not support this statement.

Hmmm, well they never won s**t either.

Swingers is a cult classic movie.

Still cute to think Kyle isn't some arrogant HC who passes on supreme talent multiple times so he can out scheme teams with subpar talent...there's no reason to blindly believe every they do.

This regime has losing records in 3 of the 4 yrs they've been here...a massive part of that is NOT drafting correctly and passing on top QB talents. HCs that don't adapt or look at WHO is constantly beating them and why, will not be HCs in this league for very long...regardless of how good they are at play calling.

Cool. Still trust my team over random internet guy. Jones looks better than Fields for me. But I'm not arrogant enough to say who is right. I'm excited either way.

Yet, here you are in the Fields thread preaching Jones and writing passive aggressive responses as if you are better than some random internet guy.

Dear lord if we take Jones I hope he's not as soft as his fans. Wow

Edited my original response for inaccuracy.

Soft - Quite the opposite. When you are a life long fan and it's been 26+ years since they last won a championship.....and you've seen every mistake made by ownership..... and previous regimes.... you don't trust them. You are skeptical and critique them on the fan forum because that's what being a fan is.

Does your boss just trust you? Or does he review your body of work every year?

If you want to review past work no problem. My boss doesn't review work I haven't done yet.

This is the biggest paradox of an idea ever. How do nfl teams draft college players then?

We aren't NFL teams. We are fans with a tenth of the knowledge they have. Maybe I misunderstood your boss reference.

So in your opinion fans on a forum (the very point of a forum is sharing of ideas) should not question the coaches because they know better?

who's random internet guy? It's literally 90% of NFL evaluators and watching games for yourself.

No it's Kyle being arrogant enough pass on much better overall talent (again and again) and thinking he can win it all with a system QB. Mac Jones will never be a top 5 QB in this league AND that's what you pay for when you give up 3 1st rd picks...but yes blindly follow Kyle off a cliff lol. no thanks.

I'm sure you thought Jim Tomsula was gonna be a great HC too

AND it's looking at past work....Kyle is too arrogant to draft guys like Mahomes/Watson/Allen because he wants to be the guy. He wanted freaking Kirk Cousins over those dudes. He wanted CJ beathard. He wanted John Beck at 10 overall....that's a f**king problem. Mike shanahan or Lynch needs to step in and say. stop it!

IF he goes Mcckorkle is shows he hasn't learned s**t....after getting piss pounded by Allen he said scheme didn't matter, there was nothing they could do vs him. He lost a SB because his QB couldn't move enough to avoid a sack and throw it away. He lost another SB because elite talent at the QB, NOT because of Andy Reid's scheme.

What's even more stupid is the whole we need a healthy QB, so lets go with the least athletic QB (by far) and stick them behind a Kyle built OL that does NOT value pass-pro and lineman that can anchor. It's all about movement/speed there, which makes no god damn sense if it's McCorkle.

Now I see why you like Fields. You just make s**t up to try and sound smart. Cute.

This could be like the Pistons taking Darco over Wade and Melo. You have this great team that has an opportunity to net a superstar that could secure them as that for the next decade but if you bust it might be the move that set you back 2 decades.

Yea just like we did in 2005. I'll root for my team regardless.

Except, we've been to more Superbowls than Aaron Rodgers since he's been in the league. In fact beat him both times on our way to the SB.

With our draft pick?

You're preaching to the choir here. I 100% agree with you. I have no problem with someone liking Jones, but I will let them know I think they are wrong lol

However it is annoying when we are told not to question the regime. That's some condescending cop out to me. We are on a forum. We are supposed to share each other's opinions and discuss them. The main focus should be the coaches and front offices performance past and present. It's literally the entire point lol

Discussion is fine. But saying someone is flat out wrong is flat out stupid.

I have no idea what that has to do with liking literally all the top 5 QBs besides Jones. All I'm hearing from you is I'll support my team no matter what blah blah blah. "If Kyle thinks he's good enough, that's all that matter to me"...that's cute lol.

The only proof we have with Kyle and QBs is he sucks at evaluating them.

I'm with ya NY. Mac Jones is not the kind of guy that you throw away multiple first round picks for. He is who he is. He's not a terrible talent but he's a guy that will play within the system.

As great of a play caller as Kyle is. 60 plays will not go as scripted in a game. They just won't. When the play breaks down you like to have someone at qb that can make something out of nothing. That's the kind of qb you throw multiple first round picks at. Otherwise we might as well keep Jimmy and use those first round picks to keep the talent level high around him.

We'll see what happens but I just have a hard time believing that this team threw multiple first round picks away to move up and take Jones. There's no way Kyle hasn't seen how difficult it is to beat guys like Allen, Mahomes, Wilson, etc.. when we've been matched up against them. I hope he's learned something from it. Draft can't get here quick enough.
