In the long run it won't matter. Either whoever they draft performs and performs at a high level or people get fired. If three years from now we're still hearing about "potential", Kyle is done.

Kyle is not beyond being questioned....there's all kinds of misses at the most important positions, there's a f**k ton of reaching in the draft, blown games, bad FA signings, lost seasons, NOT adapting and realizing you might need something more than your playbook to win games.

I saw a guy who managed an elite team but I was not impressed to think I would want my team to go up, giving up 2 1st rounders, and get this guy. The things he did in the pocket I've seen Fields do as well...but I've also seen Fields do a one man blown coverage blitz evade, in the pocket, and deliver a dime.

Chris Simms seems to think Fields can be a bust but Jones can't? Wtf? Talking about NFL Strength and Conditioning can mold this guy as if Alabama isn't on par with the NFL in the terms of facilities and staff. The dude doesn't care about being in the best shape he can be or this is the best shape he can get into...which one is worse to you?

Jones' film doesn't pop as an athlete, doesn't pop with elite arm talent, and his supposed "elite skill" of processing is not as head and shoulders above the others as he's being advertised from these same people above in their breakdowns.

This media blitzkrieg to pump up McCorkle and downgrade other prospects is gross. We've all seen "character concerns" far less than a DUI tank a players value...but not McCorkle. We've all seen someone appearing to not be in shape tank a prospects value...but not McCorkle.

I'd never root against a 49er's player but a Mac Jones bust at 3 is several orders of magnitude more significant than any of the other top 4-5 QBs.
