Who cares whom is best on day 1 of their rookie year??? Who is gonna be best in their prime is the question.

Understanding there is risk and each of these rookies can be a complete bust...If these guys all reach their "ceiling" do people really think Jones will be the best? I don't see it. His toolbag isn't as full as these other guys and his best tool is not enough better than the other QBs to justify his rocket up the board...and that skill can be coached in general. Size, Athleticiscm, speed, arm strength etc cannot

This is a massive media surge to pump this guy to the top and nitpick the others down, Alabama is all on for increasing their recruiting advantage to extend to QBs

People will soon realize Tom Brady is the exception not the rule, when bringing up the "in the pocket only" QBs. He will literally have to be Brady for this to be a success. Sucks for him because it's not his fault he's about to get MASSIVLY over drafted. Kyle will have a zone blocking scheme that is about movement and speed vs anchoring and straight up PP like Bama has had. Jones will be forced to make plays off script like every single QB and it will be a failure.

I mean at this point we gotta realize he's probably gonna be the pick. Kyle has proven to be awful at evaluating QBs and overall is known for reaching....It's one thing for people to say well this is what Kyle does and I told ya he will reach for system fit vs talent (which has proven to not work thus far).

BUT it's another thing for people to truthfully be onboard with such a stupid decision or pretend he's as talented as the other 4 QBs in this draft...Like you don't have to drink the Kool-Aid just because Kyle made it lol. This will go down as the most arrogant I can win with whoever, my scheme is the best pick in NFL history.

I've brought this up a couple times and it's shocking



If you can't learn from your mistakes and see WHO is actually beating you on Sundays and why...you're never gonna win it all in this league. He's already had 3 10+ losing seasons in part because of QB play. He's lost 2 SBs because of his choice at QB.

it's so true...people don't seem to get how close he is to Jimmy. I also don't want to hear about Jones' deep ball s**t either...Jimmy was a deep ball thrower in college all the same. When you got all the pass-pro in the world and your WR has about 3 yards of space, throwing a deep ball isn't that hard.

I can't wait to hear the crying about bad pass-pro when Jones can't escape the pocket to make a play....if Kyle is as stubborn/arrogant with his QBs he's not changing s**t with his OL either.

IMO we will still have the worst QB in the division and there's not a chance he's gonna be able to out play all the big dogs in the NFL. Our team will actually be worse after this pick.

lol what the hell is ya'll definitions of "athletic QB" anyway? There's probably one starting QB in the league that's a one read and scramble guy and it's Jackson (who's whole offense is based around that) Literally all these QBs primarily play from the pocket. It's such a dumb stereotype.

Also when you bring up Super bowls 90% of them are Brady. That's a pretty hollow stat, unless you're saying Mac Jones will HAVE to be Brady.... which is the most arrogant thing anyone can say. Jones has to be the GOAT in order to be successful. Gotcha. Well if you think that go buy a lotto ticket too, got about the same chance of winning that.
