Lol. Was being facetious. Someone claimed that same pass by Mac would be an interception in the NFL.

Even the poster I quoted said he seen that pass before. I assumed meaning the Jones pass. Hence my post

Interception in the nfl

If Mac is the pick at three then imo he was the pick the whole time no question and was the reason for the trade up. Given his skill set that would lead me to believe Shannahan is absolutely blown away and infatuated with his processing and to a lessor extent accuracy. Processing is what made Brady, manning, and brees hall of famers. If Mac is the pick at #3 imo Shannahan thinks there's a chance he's one of those guys.

He is inlove with Kirk Cousins of all QB's. I have alot of faith in his play calling and play designs/Schemes but not much faith in his decision making when it comes to picking a QB.

He's more proud of kirk cousins than anything I think. And kirk was set to be the best free agent at qb when the niners were in dire need so it was a perfect fit. I'm sure he had more fun coaching Matt Ryan than cousins.

Worst case if Shannahan picks him at three... Jared goff. Best case Shannahan version Matt Ryan. High floor, high ceiling pick.

What's wrong with Cousins? People keep bashing him like he's Blaine Gabbert or something. There were many things wrong with Minnesota last season, Cousins wasn't one of them. He gets far more criticism than he deserves IMO.

He's not a Top 5 QB but if that is your only criteria for finding a quarterback, you're going to have a bad time. I definitely think you can win with Cousins, especially since he checks the box in the most important area, availability. If the 49ers had Cousins in 2019, I think they have 6 Lombardi trophies right now.
