It's not remotely close to the main factor, but it matters some. Guys have to prove themselves when they have extreme right wing views before their teammates go to war with them.
lol I've got bad news for you guys about most of the 49ers' best players.
hell, even Shanny. But keep the politics out of this. At the end of the day, who gives a f**k. The only thing matters is can you ball.
Being a conservative is different from being an alt right cuck spamming your views on social media.

No you missed the point, I don't want him talking about it. I also don't want my QBs getting DUIs do you?
kid is an entitled little prick, it's pretty clear.

I'll bet money Warner isn't a conservative I'll bet money Trent isn't either and there's a difference between being a republican and a Trump spewing ass hat on SM.

Man step away from the edge a little bit.
Your hatred for this kid is getting a little absurd.

I disagree kyle a trumper.
The facts are out there, but like I said, why does it matter? Keep your damn politics out of football.
Can.you.ball? That's the only thing that matters. I don't care if you're a liberal, qanon, conservative, commie, etc. If you can ball, I want you on my team.

There are just so many subtle things about Mac's game that really impress me. JT O'Sullivan described some of his plays like that of a 10-year vet. I'd be lying if I said I picked up on all of the nuances while watching him. I have a basic grasp of QB play, but it takes a person who's played QB at a relatively high level to identify and appreciate all the little things he does. I believe the little things Mac does will ultimately be one of the driving factors in Kyle loving this kid.
"I know you guys want to hate the kid, but I don't know what to tell you this. This is high-level quarterback play." - Tim Jenkins on Mac Jones. That quote sums it up best.
The throw at 18:45 is definitely NFL elite level.
Bump
Mac's ball placement is really good and he has that Russell Wilson-like ability to drop it in a bucket on the deep throws, locating it on the correct shoulder. I love how he takes a hit to make a throw, although that's something you don't want your QB doing too much of. Shows courage to take a hit, and focus to keep the eyes downfield.
He'll always be limited by his physical shortcomings (mobility, arm strength) so he'll have to develop his mental aspects tenfold to be considered a "top 5" type of QB. I'm not convinced that he mentally processes the game at a clearly higher level than guys like Lawrence/Wilson/Fields. It's definitely good, but it's comparable to the others.

I don't hate him, I'm sure he's fun at frat parties. I don't want him as the QB of my team.

Jones can ball - that's why I wouldn't mind him being the pick. Fields can do everything Jones can do, plus he's fast as hell. Oh, what to do.

Hey man I'm throwing it all out there, just like Chris did of the Sac Bee. Just like every does every yr with prospects.
no I actually care if your a Q lol. I question your mental capacity at that point 🙃
I also have no problem leaving politics out of football, issue is he. did. not. reportedly.

He would QB1 in the 2006 draft. And both of those 1st rounders turned out solid.
I don't think many people would argue about your first statement. The real question is whether, in 2021, that is enough to be drafted as the #3 overall pick. The game has changed and if you have listened to Kyle's interviews, it seems clear that he understands that.

where are all the bombs?
Any highlight tape is going to have the deep passes. But the full or near full games I saw were mostly horizontal stuff with some occasional deep seams or streaks outside.
Ha! At the 18:30 mark Jimmy G. sneaks in a quick kick from the shotgun formation and pins the opponent at the 1. We could have saved that 4th rounder on the punter whose name I will not attempt to spell.
