Tweet is from January 27. Rams acquired Stafford on January 30.

Except Vegas does care about being right and they absolutely do have inside info for certain things and change betting odds to reflect that. Vegas knew the Browns were drafting Baker Mayfield before literally anybody outside of the Browns organization. Same with Bran becoming kings.

Vegas may have inside info but I think they read the recent news feed and base their odds on that. There's a bunch of media folks saying "Mac to the 49ers" so that's why Mac is currently a favorite. If NFL insiders start saying "Fields to the 49ers", then we'll see those odds change. I guess that's kind of obvious. I just don't think Vegas odds are a good predictive sign of things to come, this far out from the draft.

Odds to be selected with the No. 1 overall pick:

Sam Darnold -240
Josh Allen +225
Saquon Barkley +450
Baker Mayfield +500

I guess you could say at this point in 2018 Darnold was still the favorite. But massive swings in Vegas odds are usually indicative of some reliable info.

It's all about trying to entice people to drop money down. If Rapaport and Schefter don't really know, Vegas doesn't know squat.
Any chance Mac has another pro day like other 2? Or no need?

Not just Kyle Shanahan's love, but Kyle and Mike Shanahan's love for Mac Jones...listen again to the interview. If Mike loves him, that's all Kyle cares about.

That was hours before the draft. Not 3 f**king weeks

He's already had two, and yeah probably no need anyways. His biggest supporter in the world already saw enough to draft him 3rd at his last one.

Yeah NO ONE had a clue about Baker until the day of the draft. Dorsey didn't tell anyone.

He already had a 2nd pro day

Exactly. Vegas doesn't pick winners or losers. They just post odds based on where the money is going. Big bets move the line. One big name GM could say Lynch told him they want Fields and the odds would change.
Can somebody send lawsuits to Mac Jones or hack him so his stock plummets? There must be a way to keep Shanahan eyes away from this garbage and make him look at real talent. Hopefully the April 14 and 19 pro days of Justin and Lance make him scratch trash Jones name from the draft board.

So no need. Got it.

Totally agree on the bolded. If you asked a non-49er fan who SF will take, they most likely would say Mac. Simply based off what NFL Insiders have been saying over the past week, and assuming that the non-49er fan is reading the national news feed. Does that mean there's been a leak from 49ers HQ? I don't think so.

What's even funnier is Rapp's b******t on SF picking Jones was just that b******t...he doesn't know. Sliver just pointed out a lot of people think it's actually Fields.

Also why would Kyle tell Rap he loves Jones a month before the draft (unless he's just blown smoke)? That's not how this team operates.

"A lot of people." LOL.

Listen how careful he is with his word choice.
