I saw a clip of Chris Simms talking about Josh Rosen right after the draft in 2018. It was eerie how similar the spiel was to the one we're hearing about Mac Jones. Chris Simms raved about how pro-ready and intelligent and how fast of a processor Rosen was. He even compared him to Matt Ryan and declared him the safest pick in the draft.

He also had Lamar Jackson as the best QB prospect and had no questions or concerns about his game. On top of that said he had no accuracy issues because he threw the ball down the field a ton. So when people just go well he had Lamar #1, he knows QBs and then you hear why he had Lamar #1. Its like well maybe he isn't this amazing QB evaluator. He just gets lucky.

Yeah I've noticed that people that weren't very high on Herbert also don't seem to be very high on Jones, which is odd because they're pretty different QBs style wise.

And literally no one is high on Jones lol. At least not at 3 overall or giving up 3 1sts

I think the point was that this guy is just throwing darts with qbs. And everyone knew bosa and buckner would be great.

Said Chase Young won't have nearly as good of a rookie year as Bosa did. Weekly drops a breakdown of usually a Shanahan play. But let's discredit him cause he's had a bad take or two but Simms is right?

Simms destroyed HIMSELF last year,...talking about how he knew we wanted Aiyuk all along AFTER the draft talk.

Why TF do we want to hear from a guy that shares what he knows after the draft?? I knew we were taking Aiyuk all along after the draft too!! Lol.

Pre-draft,...his words amount to zilch for 49ers fans.

After they've been in the NFL...those are obvious statements by that point.

<--said both would be studs during the draft process.
