Mac Jones-QB-Jaguars

Agree all around. I have my concerns on Mac and Lance too but it's these I'm concerned about with Fields and I think he'll end up with a lot of stripped fumbles and his 3.11 and 3.18 TTT when blitzed scares the hell out of me. That 3.11 matches the longest in the NFL currently in Jalen Hurts. I see him in that Russell Wilson territory of 2.97 where there's a lot of busts and some boom too. Lots of negative yards on sacks and 3 and outs but some special runs and off schedule throws. But a clunky offense overall.

Kyle wants all his guys under 2.55 (top 5) every year. That's where KYLE has the control. After that, it's off schedule and out of his hands.

Per ESPN's next-gen stats, Ryan's 2016 TTT was 2.64, which was slightly longer-than-average.

The 49ers wanted Deshaun Watson, whose 2020 TTT was 2.85.

There's a massive difference in style of play when you start getting above the 2.7's.

Allegedly.

Yeah and no one wants a Russell Wilson type in the NFL. No one.

Nobody wants the negative parts I was referencing. You know, the ones that only take him so far annually.

33-15 record the last 3 seasons with Wilson averaging 35 TDs and 8 INTs.

K.

30 of this 33 wins are a clunky offense for 58 minutes with 2 minute heroics.

But I'm more interested in QB's who can win Championships, not regular seasons.

Also, I wasn't comparing the two directly...just the negative parts of Russell's game and style.

Russell has had a defense that couldn't stop a nose bleed. Dude has been Iin MVP consideration all season

And then goes on a stinker at the end of the season every time and flames out of contention for that MVP only to be instantly bounced from the playoffs.

He's a really good QB but again, I wasn't comping him.

Only current QBs with Multiple Super Bowls wins are Ben Roethlisberger who last won in 2008 and Tom Brady.

Hmmm. Pocket passers 2 > 1 and that 1 was just along for the ride.

OMG people are still talking about TTT like it means anything

Only thing I think about when I see TTT is what someone referred to Mac as having salami TTs

It does if you understand style of play.

You just hit the nail on the head. TTT is much more about style of play than talent. Why would you evaluate a QB based on the offense their coach wants to run?
