Funny how people want to talk race and football. You post this and no one wants to talk about it

Plus you hear his teammates love him. I get that people don't want Mac, I certainly don't at 3, but im pretty sure he isn't racist. His teammates would've caught on easily.

Edit: holy crap look at that like to dislike ratio though 😳

well first off we don't know what these other issues are...all we know of is a DUI, some political stuff/deleted tweets There could be other things behind closed doors that you only find out by looking. Tony pauline a week or two ago said SF was looking into his background for stuff...I'm sure every single team is doing this for every player all the same.
The dude is trash why cant yall get over it already? You tied your wagon to the wrong horse, but theres still time to jump off.

I mean one is based on things that actually happened (like 8 years ago) vs stuff that seems to be complete contrived. I don't think this will matter, but there are character concerns. He may have moved passed that, which I'm sure he'll say, but it is an interesting commentary about white/black QBs and the level of rigor required to be a "leader".

I wonder if Albright will get criticized like Orlovsky?

You can literally say the same about any player. Allbright hasn't provided any proof, its just unsourced innuendo. Its strange to see you here hungrily lapping it up after complaining about Orlovsky doing the same thing.

Why? It's an an actual story...

We don't know who that is in the costume first of all, second of all, around this time Jones was 13 years old. Do we need to start doing detailed investigations into what every single one of these prospects was doing in middle school? I always thought stuff like that was self-explanatory but perhaps not.

There's no similarity between the two situations.

It was posted in 2012, it was him tagged in it. No Albright doesn't know if it's actually him...it's not the end of the world he was a kid. He also deleted a bunch of tweets form as early as august-January of this yr reportedly. Albright has said there's other issues he's need to explain to teams...is what it is.

when you're planning on making a kid the face of your team for the next decade and there's 4 other QBs (and you possibly have all graded similar) anything can change opinions on any player.

I guess to each their own, but a QB is essentially a de facto CEO. Perception is a big part of the hiring process. Yes, I'd ask. It could be someone else (which I'm sure he'll say). But it would probably lead to more investigation.

Unless he elaborates on what these other issues are, this is just the same sort of "I've heard things" logic that Orlovsky used, that people complained that he didn't vet properly before running with it.

You're correct. Orlovsky was reporting what he had heard from a source. Albright posted a post from McCorkle's sister

That was a rumor with no substance behind it. An "I heard" that we've heard year after year with minority QBs. Night & Day.

If it's the same,...then you actually agree with teams drilling him on asking questions about this stuff,...because of course it's fair game to drill them about their work ethic and rumblings about it.

All we know that happened is his sister posted a picture on Twitter and tagged his account in her post. We literally don't know anything else about this, there is literally zero context.
