What I mean in the bolded is that usually you will see fans split on guys(like the kings were with luka, bagley) and the front office shouldn't care what the fans think in that scenario. But when 95% don't want a guy and nearly every evaluator has fields rated higher than Jones, how does the front office decide to still take that player?

That is how you end up taking Daniel Jones 6th when no one else in the top 15 was going to take him.
