I love that the petition is not "Stop the niners from drafting Mac Jones." but "Stop Kyle Shanahan from drafting Mac Jones.".^^
I think these 5 days are gonna be very long. A lot of things will happen.
First there´s the press conference with Lynch tomorrow. Good luck John trying to sell Mac for three first round picks.
And then there´s all these weird rumors that surely will happen.
The main event will of course be the post first round press conference. Shanny will be crimson red probably.

sorry some fans are f**king done with avg QBs with limited ceilings...we've been waiting 20+ yrs for SF to make a legit play at a top rookie QB with elite talents and a high ceiling. Sorry we see other teams have QBs that can make s**t happen with unlimited potential.

what's so wrong with wanting MORE vs another system QB with no elite traits and a limited ceiling? It's alex Smith vs Rogers all over again (worse actually with what we've given up) how do you not see this?

4300 and 25 should be expected in 2021.

You don't know dick either, and neither does Shanahan judging by who he's passed on and moved up for. What we DO know is elite talent can be measured. And Jones does not have it. Fields and Lance do. Why is this so hard for you and others to grasp. It's a really simple concept. No need to get your panties all in a bunch, we're all going to root for the Niners, even if our QB is a fat racist who doesn't make plays with his feet and throws at or behind the LOS 60% of the time.

Who's jumping off the "bandwagon" that's such a stupid thing to say. Did you not read the names of the past QBs that people HAVE rooted for? Were you around for that b******t? I was and remained a fan. I'm still gonna be a massive 49er fan...I'm not spending money to watch McCorkle though.

Mac will have to be Tom Brady for him to be worth 3 1st rd picks...he's about as limited as you get at QB now with who is coming out. It's cool Kyle has passed on 4 QBs that you could argue are top 5/6 in the league right now...all because he wants a system QB.

people simply want more than the same s**t...they want the potential for top 5. They want a top end arm talent. They want someone who CAN make s**t happen with the offense isn't running smoothly. They want someone that doesn't need an all-star roster or can overcome when injuries happen.

what's the problem for wanting elite traits and a high ceiling? That's what you should be spending for...not a Mac Jones level talent.
