That's all part of Kyle's plan. Destroy Garoppolo in practice and then it's OK to move on from Jimmy for a young player.
Sounds like they were just getting rid of Kwon's contract. Since Kwon rarely is on the field, this move doesn't really hurt.

He has no stats for this year???

He was on IR, tore his ACL last year. Just returned to practice a week or two ago.

Trading one injured player for another.

Contract dump by Lynch?

This guy sucks. Just a move to clear the books.

Worse then Al-Shair?

Way worse and helping the Saints before we play them Isn't something that was smart. Dump Kwon somewhere else but I'm not the GM

That's all it is. Don't think they really care for kiko but if looks like he can be a good backup they might sign him for really cheap next season or something

Yes, and we got a pick out of it.

Need to see how he's done this season. He was out some last season with an injury.

Hasn't played yet...

Thanks - just read about the injury last year in the playoffs. I wonder how far away he is from playing. He was at one point a good LB...had some good years on the Dolphins.
How much savings did we just get?

This team isn't built to win at the moment . They won't ever stop trying to win. But they're thinking about next year now. Kwon is the third best LB on the team, way too expensive and always hurt.

Missing our best player at every skill positions but FB, we will never tank but it's time to make some smart moves to improve the team next year. For all we know the cap could shrink next year after this covid s**t

I remember him for stopping Kap on fourth down.

I think we save like $800k this year, but still take a cap hit next year if $6.1M for Kwon
