He played a critical role here last year giving the defense confidence and swagger. From a production stand-point, he was/is being outplayed by a 5th rounder.

Of course he wont ever see a snap as a 49er . But how does that work if a player is in re-hab for an injury . Are the 49ers going to make him travel all the way to santa clara to re-hab with the 49ers or the Saints just bill the 49ers for re-hab payments ??

I doubt he'll ever play for the Niners, they had to take him in order to get another team to take Alexander's contract.
