Didn't answer my question, Does Jimmy have no one else to blame but himself for his 26 INTs and 10 fumbles on 977 passing attempts?
It's not defending Darnold, it's showing that we have a QB right here making $27M that has NO PROBLEM turning the ball over lol.
Sure a lot of those interceptions should be on Jimmy and a lot of us are on record as saying we don't like those throws he makes. However, you should not assume what you are assuming. You're making a projection based on nothing whatsoever
Maybe it's better that we don't defend either quarterback and save ourselves the embarrassment. Let's just hope we get Watson, which we most likely won't, or draft a quarterback very high. At the very least let's hope we get offensive lineman that play at a high-level
I'm basing it off him actually throwing the same amount as Sam. I found out (on avg) how many passing attempts he has before having a INT (through out his career). Then applied that as if he threw the same amount as Sam. It's not exact, it's an avg. He very well could have thrown more or less. That's why it's called an avg.
In no way am I defending Sam, I think he's a little better than people think BUT could give a s**t if he gets moved here. Not close to one of my top scenarios. My point is we're calling out Sam who was 20, got thrown to the wolves. and we're saying all his turnovers are on him...well here in SF we have a guy that's gotten to sit in learn behind the GOAT then come into a good organization and has turn the ball over a s**t ton in his own right. He also cost about 5x more than Sam.
Like I said if we're gonna say Sam's turnovers are all on him (which is silly) then we need to say that about our own little turnover monster QB in SF all the same.
