Sam Darnold-Traded to Panthers

Darnold will only be the QB if we can't get one of the QB's we like in the draft imo.

Of course this is if we move on from Jimmy which we may not even do.
I'm not saying Sam is great, I'd rather not trade for him...Jimmy is NOT $20M dollars better though. Just not

Are you comparing what Jimmy has had vs what Sam has had?? Seriously?

Didn't you just do that. I mean you give every QB out there all the excuses in the book but as soon as it comes to Jimmy its "oh here come the Jimmy fanboys blah blah blah".

I'll agree he wasn't last season, but when he's healthy he's on. There's a reason Lynch gave him $20 mil, he didn't do it just cause they were giving money away.

Rams havent had a first round pick since the drafted Goff, or cap space in that time....and they are constantly a playoff team.

It doesn't matter about the money. Jimmy is probably 2 or 3 wins better and that is probably the difference in making and missing the playoffs.

They didn't make the playoffs after the SB and were a wild card last season. They are in Cap hell and about to lose a few high level starters on defense and offense in free agency and will also be cutting some.

3 year sample size is way to small. They are about to pay for all the stupid trades.

The only interesting thing with Darnold is that he´s only 23 years old. Some rookies will be as old as him this year.
The rest? He ´s basically the same player he was 3 years ago. Just draft one of the QBs this year if you want a younger QB with raw potential.

He's the same player he was 3 years ago, because they've done nothing to improve the team in three years. I think Darnold shows more with a better supporting cast.

Seriously we can beat the rams with our backups and they were so fortunate on the injury front compared to most teams if not all. They have 0 depth and are going to lose more players than we are. They literally have Stafford Donald Ramsey and 2 solid wrs.

All these excuses? WTF are you talking about? That's what you've been doing for Jimmy lol.

you can NOT objectively compare Jimmy's situation in SF to Sam's in NJ as apples to apples.

Stop the nonsense, you damn well know what each team has had between rosters and coaching staff.

When healthy he's an avg starting QB.

Talk to Kwon, Ford, Richburg and most of the FAs brought in back in 2017 about Lynch giving money away.

Sam has damn near all the same issues as Jimmy.

s**tty footwork in the pocket, TO machines, overall accuracy isn't amazing, bad field vision.

Jimmy wouldn't be winning s**t in NJ either.

both are bridge quarterbacks one is $20M cheaper.

only way I'm cool bringing in Sam is if he's dirt cheap, their plan is to still draft a QB like lance/fields, and they get something for Jimmy.

So NY, obviously we have both watched a lot of Darnold and nothing has been good lol but you don't think a great team, system, supporting crew like the niners have can fix Darnold, he wasn't drafted that high just bc, he is talented, I think the jets ruined him so far, you don't think he's fixable ?
