Wow so lucky. That's way better than Dirk Diggler
Hopefully the Panthers take a CB with the #8 pick and the Cowboys take the other CB, leaving the Cardinals in the dust. Unless they want to gamble on Farley and his back injury.

I'm hoping the cardinals don't get another cb as well. I'm not too sure they won't trade down to get a rb or even draft the best rb at 16
I think the Jets now have 7 picks in the first 2 rounds the next 2 years. Salah could build a heck of a team with that draft capital.

Good trade by the Panthers. Dude young as s**t and has arm talent. We'll see if a new setting helps him out.

Even with this deal and contract, the Panthers are not forced to stick with him these next few years.

The HC and OC are far more talented than the mess he had in NY. Also, a great RB and some fine receivers. He should be fine.

But that is a next year's 2nd.

Works out just fine for the Jets who continue to stockpile a boatload of picks over the next two years. They have the assets to build that team up in a hurry.

In 2021 they have: 2 (1st) rounders, 1 (2nd) rounder, 2 (3rd rounders)

In 2022 they have:2 (1st) rounders, 2 (2nd) rounders, 2 (3rd rounders)

Where is that 2022 first rounder coming from? Please tell me it's not the Jamal Adams trade.

Sam Darnold gets the Jets a 2nd plus sweeteners. Once again proving NT has no appreciation for how badly this league craves even mediocre QB play.

But that is a next year's 2nd.

So we'll say a 6th and a 3rd this year. That's a quality starter if you draft right for a perceived bust of a QB. Also, the 49ers are absolutely justified in wanting a 1st (minimum) for Jimmy G.

If this works out for Carolina, wow. The only bad thing about the situation is that D'Arnold only has two years left on that deal should they exercise the 5th year option.
The biggest Loser out of this is Zach Wilson. 1 Pick could cost him millions of dollars if the Jets ruin another QB. But maybe Saleh can turn that organization around and turn it into a respected franchise. But we don't know if he is going to be a good coach or not. His talent is on the defensive side of the ball.

Yes the Jets have an extra 1 & 3 because of the Adams trade. And they have an extra 1 next year also from that trade.

I knew they had the first and third this year from Adams. But Seattle also gave up ANOTHER number one?

So Seattle traded TWO first round picks for a safety? A safety not named Ed Reed at that? A safety that can't cover?

Weird board. Thinks 3 picks including a 2nd is poor return for Darnold, but that JG wouldn't get a 1st.

Also, this tells me that the Panthers think Darnold is better than the 5th QB who is likely to be available at their pick. I'd be confident if I were them than either Lance or Jones will be available there.

A lot of folks thought that if Darnold was in this draft class he would be ahead of Lance and Jones and maybe Fields. Lots of people around the league think he can play.

GREAT moves for the Panthers... This just basically said that they had Darnold ahead of any of the QBs after Lawrence and Wilson.

Good move, good move !!

with that being said, they now have a very good problem to have using their 1st pick... CB - LB - OT..

Not really. It said they had no shot at the top 4 QBs

...and they might also be wary of Denver jumping them. Unlikely but crazy things happen when QB-hyping season is in full swing.
