Rice could do it all.

Moss could never be considered the best because he was mainly only good at deep routes and intermediate if that. He never could get YAC so his game was limited. Look at how many games they took him out. All they had to do was cover the Deep pass and Randy moss was largely ineffective. He did open up things for other players however rice was good short intermediate and deep same with Terrell Owens. Both are much more valuable than moss in my opinion

Moss might be the most talented & athletic WR to ever play but he couldn't accomplish what Rice did and that's actually doing damage when it really mattered. In the Playoffs/Superbowl.

No, Randy, Jerry didn't like take over games and dominate his position. Not at all.

A lot of people seem to insinuate that when arguing Moss vs Rice and it's so laughably wrong that it shouldn't even piss me off, but it does
Lynn swann was the original randy moss
Should this be moved to nfl talk?

I honestly forgot he was a 9er in 2012.

That says alot about him towards the end of his career.

Jerry Rice,40 year old season: 92/1210/7tds.

Randy Moss, 35 year old season: 24/433/3tds

Randy talking all that mess while Larry Fitzgerald has been coming up from behind him like:

Fitz played most of his career with garbage QB's, he still dominated and put up huge numbers. All the excuses that Moss is using apply far more appropriately to Larry.

lol he said "dont look at statistics or championships, because thats all politics".

Moss and Owens sitting there stroking eachothers ego's like 🤡🤡

I agree they were just stroking each other's egos but if their NFL careers were college and we used their numbers for the draft.

People would want to trade up for Moss and/or TO over Rice.

Yeah ok

Yeah ok
And that's why people draft like baalke
Rice has three rings and was the best player on the field each time.
Moss has got a good point. I agree.

I have no problem with what he said......I mean....what's he gonna say when asked the question? 'I think I'm in the top 10.' Most people know what Moss is all about. These guys all have egos and such......he was on T.O.'s podcast and put him second. He's arguably the second best ever, so if you're THAT good....you can make a case...I guess.

Jerry Rice is the best I've ever seen, and there are guys whom I'd place much higher in NFL history than history will remember them - Sterling Sharpe, Paul Warfield, John Jefferson to name a few. And Owens should learn a little about Rice's history - when the dude broke out in 1986 leading the NFL in yards and TD's, he did so more with Jeff Kemp and Mike Moroski as his QB's than he did with Montana. Point being, Rice would dominate any time, any where with pretty much most any QB.

Jerry over randy all damn day. Every day.
These guys have to stay relevant any way they can. So many talking heads that must say something to keep their names in media. But don't dare diss Jerry, it's a losing proposition.

Moss had fourteen 150+ yard games, and one 200+ yard game.

Rice had THIRTY 150+ yard games, and four 200+ yard games.
