The only difference is Rice had two HOF Quarterbacks throwing him the ball. Moss on the other hand had Daunte Culpeper throwing him the ball. When he finally got Tom Brady as his qb he had like 23 tds in one season. Rice still the GOAT though

And said team still got rid of Moss after 2 years.
To add, people when talking about Rice debate whether or not he is the greatest player of all time. Rice's peers are Jim Brown, Lawrence Taylor, and Joe Montana. No one puts Moss in that debate ever. Or any other receiver for that matter.

I caught the end of Rice as a 49ers player, and then T.O. took the torch. He played with the raiders, seahawks, broncos and did not continue that last season with denver. He retired or something like that. But for whatever reason, I always enjoyed watching Randy Moss play, he needed that fade in the 49ers sb not crabs for 4 downs. I like Moss better than T.O. and I dont have a problem him saying he's the Goat. He's up there thats for sure, just no rings

Culpepper was a 3 time pro bowler. Moss cant pull the "Rice had better QB's" card because he didn't try half the time. He disqualified himself by not caring.

Rice could do it all.
I'll admit sus, I came into this thread thinking for sure you were going to play the hardest game of mental gymnastics you could to explain how Moss was even justified to say this.
For once, I agree with you!

In 40 years no one will even have moss in the top 10. Rice will still be a legend.

This is the equivalent of Shaq saying he's the goat over MJ because he was the most physically gifted player in the nba.
Just because you have the most physical gifts does not make you the goat. Hell I would say moss and Shaq both are the biggest underachievers of their respective sport because they should own every stat and do not.

Daunte Culpepper and Randall Cunningham were both First-Team All-Pros in their primes with the Vikings and Moss got to play with both. Heck Moss got prime Brady too.
I get that Rice played with Montana and Young but it wasn't like Moss was playing with scrubs.
