The fact that we have people calling potential rape victims prostitutes says we should lock this thread....f**k this place.

I agree. It is really disturbing the hate these women get. No wonder women are scared to speak up.

And for who? Some guy who throws a football that we dont even know personally? Disgusting.
have you guys ever seen the ads to some of these massuses (not the ones in this case but in general) ?

Who the f**k cares? The fact that you defend treating potential victims as whores disgust me.
what do you mean who cares..You think a chick in the middle of the night in december wearing lingerie on the corner just likes to be just hanging out ?

i'm not defending watson, but you're just being naive on the real world of this profession

I say this most seriously knowing I will get a ban, f**k you. The existence of prostitutes doesn't make every massage therapist a whore or imply they deserve to be coerced into sex. Seriously f**k you, you piece of s**t.

for saying what some of us are thinking. This thread will probably get locked soon, as it no longer has any consequence on our franchise since we traded up to draft a QB at #3. All this thread is showing now is the divide between guys and how they view women.

ok, stop. You can't seriously think every massage therapist is performing sexual acts. Ridiculous
stop what.. i never said every one does sexual acts.

lets not not pretend that every massuse is legit also. Where do you think the term "happy endings" come from ..a barber shop?

all i said was look at some of the ads for some places or persons. Watson didn't just stumble into this world he got himself into

IN HIS LAWSUITS and in two news conferences at his office atop the Houston skyline, Buzbee has described Watson's alleged modus operandi as systematic.

Watson, he says, reached out to most of the women on social media, primarily Instagram, and insisted that they be alone when he showed up. He occasionally would seek appointments with women who told him that they'd never even done massage. "Well, can you do a massage?" Watson would ask, according to Buzbee.

In some instances, Buzbee says, Watson asked for photos of the therapists or dictated what he wanted them to wear during the sessions. In screen grabs of a direct message exchange Buzbee provided to reporters on Tuesday, Watson appears to comment on the image of a woman wearing a sports bra and spandex shorts.

"Something like this is fine," reads a direct message said to be from Watson to the woman. "It's hot here."

Often, according to the lawsuits, Watson would insist that no one else be around during the sessions. Watson would frequently insist on being covered only with a towel during the massage sessions rather than draped with a sheet, as is customary, Buzbee said. And, in some instances, he brought his own towel, which was closer in size to a "small washcloth," Buzbee said.

He asked some of the women to sign a nondisclosure agreement either before or after the massages, and Buzbee provided reporters a copy of that two-page agreement.

At least once he is said to have gone to unusual lengths to book a therapist he found on Instagram. In August 2020, according to one lawsuit, Watson purchased a plane ticket for an Atlanta-based therapist and flew her to Houston. A direct message released by Buzbee, said to be from Watson, includes the woman's itinerary, along with heart and rose emojis.

Another message sends the therapist an address for the Houstonian hotel.

"We will [meet] here," the message says. "I have a suite."

"Ok. Find table?" the woman asks. "Yep, Got one from my team," the reply says.

All those who have sued Watson mention in their lawsuits feeling threatened when, they say, Watson unexpectedly appeared naked during massages or became sexually aggressive. Beyond his physical stature, they say, his influence wasn't lost on them.

"Lauren Baxley, the other plaintiff to make her name public last week, shared a statement through Buzbee that was addressed to Watson.

"With your millions of fans and followers, with your resources and income I felt both powerless, and trapped," Baxley said. "My work contract with my building was tied to my lease, and at the snap of your fingers I knew my good reputation, my home, and my career might be lost."

At the very minimum, Deshaun was incredibly sloppy and brought drama on himself by not handling his business in a "professional" way. If he wanted to get some action, there are discreet services he could've used.

At worst, the dude is a predator. Anyways, not my concern at this point since the Niners aren't going to trade for him. Hopefully justice prevails in determining his innocence or guilt.

Watsons lawyer probably has one last card to play. If he can show that these women were there for sex, venmo, paypal, any kind of statements that show that Watson paid for sex (no masseuse is charging $1000+ for a massage) then most likely hes just gonna look like a perv in the public court, but at least he will be out of prison.

Um, paying for sex is still a crime dude.

he just needs to prove these women are prostitutes

You guys actually think that Watson would go to jail/prison for paying for sex?

So many celebs, athletes, politicians, would be in jail right now. Kraft was caught on camera paying for sex at a place that got busted for sex trafficking and nothing happened. You guys dont seem to understand how common it is, especially for athletes paying for sex.

Watson and his lawyer would be high fiving if this was the only charge against him. Worst case some house arrest and community service lol.

Im not saying that these women are prostitutes, just saying its Watsons most likely last chance. Because these charges otherwise will land him in prison. But it doesn't seem like they were at least not yet.

No, but Goodell and the NFL would love him tenderly for admitting to having pursued dozens of prostitutes during a pandemic where NFL teams were going all bubble mode for their key personnel, testing and re-testing everyone like crazy.

And that is Watson's best case scenario at this point, as far-fetched as it might be, that all of these women were just flat out lying, they were all prostitutes that he solicited and he paid them for services.

He's still getting smashed by the NFL in that absolute best case scenario. I don't see anyway that he's not suspended for at least 10-17 games.

More realistically, at least some of these women apparently are very legitimate masseuses that have their own businesses and extensive resumes, not your random Craigslist or Backpage types so he's going to probably take some hits in civil court, may end up losing some of these cases, having to settle many others and then the hit from the NFL will still come.

Worst case scenario is he ends up facing criminal charges and that would open up a whole other Pandora's Box of problems for him.
...

Thats a weird thing to get that mad about lol

We've moved past it, clearly nobody sent you the memo about it, or the one about the TPS reports for that matter.

Now that is a different story with the NFL. Hes gonna see some severe ass suspension and fine thats for sure.

Outside of these women lying, i wouldn't be surprised if he gets a one year suspension.

And like you said, at least some of them have a solid masseuse background. I have a hard time believing that he's gonna come away okay from this.

Going to threaten some more of the girls
What a shame. You want your franchise QB to conduct themselves appropriately. At least to the point where their shenanigans don't become or merit public embarrassments. Watson will be lucky if embarrassment and loss of face is all this fiasco results in.
This is allegedly one of the accusers. Hmmm...
