Deshaun Watson

NFL has every right to suspend him regardless if he is found guilty or not in the civil case. He paid for sex which by definition is prostitution and a crime. Hopefully for his sake that's all he did. At the very least he gets suspended a few games and not the entire year but who knows.

You mean he tried to make masseuses have sex with him, whether they were willing to or not. I'm sure there were quite a few who gave into his demands, but the ones who weren't willing to are suing him now. Seems like he was booking them for massages under false pretenses, using his money and power to exploit them. That is worse than soliciting prostitution because that's sexual coercion, low key rape.
Jimmy G next offseason to Houston for their early 2nd could be enticing...

I think there are legitimate accusations against him. And yhat could be true, and he still not be guilty of any sexual assault.

Getting the erection, i do not care. Every legitimate professional massage i have gotten has resulted in one, including physical therapy/rehab. But covering with a hand towel, that is purposeful.
Buzbee lying? Hmmmmm, never would have thunk it.

Member of legal team suing Deshaun Watson reached out to discuss 'working things out'

HOUSTON -- A member of the team representing the women suing Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson recently reached out to Watson's legal team to discuss the case, according to text messages and a recording reviewed by ESPN.

In a statement released Thursday afternoon, Watson's attorney, Rusty Hardin, suggested Tony Buzbee, the attorney for the 22 women who have filed civil lawsuits against Watson, has attempted to settle the case on several occasions.

Buzbee denied the claim early Friday morning in an Instagram post.

"Contrary to what Mr. Rusty says, we haven't approached them to settle, ever," he wrote.

The text messages and recording reviewed by ESPN show a member of Buzbee's team approaching Watson's legal team to discuss "working things out" between Watson and the women who have filed the lawsuits.

Buzbee did not respond to ESPN's emails requesting comment Friday.

Watson, according to a source with knowledge of the situation, has not been interviewed by the NFL, despite the fact that Buzbee told a Houston television station that four of his clients have met with the league.

In the interview with Fox 26, Buzbee expressed concern over how the NFL is handling its investigation into the lawsuits filed against Watson, saying that "some of the women did not feel like they were being respected during the interview process."

Buzbee told the television station that four of his clients met with the league's lead investigator, Lisa Friel, and that he has "probably four more women who want to meet with the NFL" but is not sure whether he is going to let them speak with the league's investigators.

Wait wait...hold on. I've gotten plenty of massages whether it be Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot stone, etc. I never got a boner during any of them. And yes some of the massage therapists were hot women. I legit enjoy massages and get no sexual feelings during them at all.

That was like...the greatest admission in this thread haha.

Regardless of Watson's innocence or guilt, Buzbee has been a slime ball in how he's handled this.

This article did it for me... the first I've seen that really sheds light on the entire situation and how it's a whole NFL/professional sports problem with LMT. Long article but worth the read. If this happened in California that has a very different definition of sexual assault versus Texas, Watson would be in jail already.

Unfortunately both lawyers took advantage of their clients and have been poor advocates.

Watson guaranteed to get suspended.

For soliciting, for sure, if that's what the original Facebook post says he did (or hinted). But beyond that, if that's all the evidence there is other than claims, I don't think it's going to go too far legally. Can't seem to find the original Facebook post though, although I only searched for ten seconds due to terminal laziness.
