Deshaun Watson

I just can't possibly seeing this working out for any team. I guess if they're trying to (1) understand Watson's exposure (no pun intended) and (2) understand how much he'll have to cough up to settle out of court with a gag clause on 23 women. A lot has to go right for this not to end up being a media and PR nightmare.

I doubt this. He will settle outside the courts - and it'll be easy for his of team's PR to say - no crime committed - there wasn't even evidence for it to go to trial - but we want this to be over with and it's not worth the time - so we are settling to save time and put our 100% focus back on football.

Doubt he will want to go to Seattle. Ppl want out of there - I believe he has a no-trade clause.

Maybe that isn't as big of a deal as it was before the accusations. Now, he might be happy to go anywhere

As I expected.
Apparently he has rejected the Seahawks.

Not sure how a guy with 22 unsettled civil cases can afford to reject anyone. Privileged

...bc he has a trade clause and multiple other teams are dying to have him.

don't worry Seahawks consent means nothing to Watson, you can still pursue him

Over 5200 total yards. 36 total TDs , 7 int on a horrible team with disaster coaching the last year he played gives you that luxury .

😂 best news all week . Smart man ,
The Mrs is a big Texans fan (was from Houston) and says there are reports that the Jets offered three 1's, two 2's and Zach Wilson but Watson veto'd NY.

This. The nfl has proved time and time again talent trumps character. Look at Jimmy, great guy no problems but not a lot of interest in him cause of talent.

NFL is about winning not being role models.

Nope. Not happening.

Best package we can give is Trey Lance, Nick Bosa, George Kittle, three 2nds and a 2024 1st. And that's probably not getting it done, nor should we do that.

Zero chance. I'm calling BS on this.
