It's not like Cleveland is going to transform into the Patriots even when he gets back on the field. It's a bad organization, and stressing about 24 lawsuits while being suspended for a year will blunt his edge dramatically. The only way to avoid that would be if he had exceptional mental discipline, but if he had that he wouldn't be in this situation.

I don't see him becoming a hero. Realize CLE shipped out 3 ones. Hard to team build. Imagine they could have had Matt Ryan a future HOF QB and kept all their ones. Pair Ryan with that run game and D.. they could a been a contendah..

They don't have much to build. There defense is set. Top tier o line and top tier rb's. Sure they have holes on their roster like everybody else. But if Watson plays a full season and looks like his former self they are winning that division and will be a AFC contender

Deshaun Watson received massages from at least 66 different women in a 17-month period. Some of these women, speaking publicly for the first time, described experiences that undercut his insistence he was only seeking professional massage therapy: https://t.co/QezN8ucAHU

A spa in a strip mall and the team he played for at the time played roles in enabling this series of massages. And the regular dialogue Hardin had with prosecutors before the grand jury demonstrates, at the least, the value of a well paid and well connected lawyer.

Our review shows the methods Watson used to assure women that he could be trusted. He often said he wanted to support Black businesses. On one occasion, he left a woman perplexed when he purchased 30 bottles of her $40 skin cleanser. pic.twitter.com/C5k2Jd3gQw

Forget football, if this was any random guy trying to set up all these massages and turn them into sexual encounters, you'd think that they have some real issues.
Starting to wonder if he was sexually abused as a kid or just someone that watched way, way too much porn.

Keep in mind Calvin Ridley got a full year suspension for a $1500 bet.@NFL anything less than 2 years for Deshaun Watson is an absolute joke.

No man, unless he is a POS sexual predator, needs to bring an NDA with him provided by his team to a massage unless he has bad intentions. Don't know how this guy ever sees the field again in the NFL. That would truly be a bad look for the league.

66 different women(almost one a week) with over 1/3 accusing him of something seems a little too much to be a coincidence.

SMH I thought 22 was bad. So my question is, how did the nytimes get this info and Cleveland didn't? Or did they and just not care? I'm sure it's the later and that whole organization should be gutted starting with the owner.

CLE at the time of the trade I thought it was quite possibly the dumbest trade of all time. I mean even if you assume Watson has zero cloud over his head it's still a hard to swallow trade. Three ones and more AAV than Pat Mahomes. And it didn't stop there... it's 3 ones, a third and a fourth for Watson and a sixth.. oh yeah and to top it off.. they fully gtd the deal.. all $230,000,000.
Wouldn't want to be a Browns fan they basically lit three number one picks on fire and devoted a quarter of their cap to this joke.. who may or may not even wear the uniform.. no one in the bldg had the voice to step up and say.. what are we doing here.. if I'm the HC I resign or at least no show to that introductory press conference..

There has to be some sort of stipulations in the contract. If not... Cleveland is absolutely f*ed lol. Regardless they gave away the picks.
