The real winner in this is the San Francisco 49ers front office. Jimmy becomes an attractive trade candidate now.

I don't see it remotely they already went out and added Brissett who has lots of NFL starts as QB and Joshua Dobbs.. almost like they already have a QB1 and QB2 in the event Watson is suspended.. Baker is still technically a Brown.. so they have Watson, Brissett, Dobbs and Mayfield all currently under contract..

Even if he somehow excapes a long suspension or even after he returns from suspension, How do you have a guy like this as the face of your franchise? How are fans suppose to cheer for him? Especially the female fanbase. I would think this would be a PR nightmare. Would winning give everybody amnesia?

I think Ridley was injured so he couldn't personally impact the outcome.

I can't see how the NFL allows Watson to play this year. With 24 accusations I would think he would be in court more than on the practice field. Maybe they would trade for Jimmy but I doubt they want to pay $26 million for a guy that will probably play one year. That's if he can make it through the year without getting hurt again.

They pay him for one year and he walks and they get a 3rd comp possibly. If they're desperate enough to win and Watson is suspended for a year why not? It's not like Jimmy is signed past this year, with that roster the Browns are poised to win now
