Yeah there was a reason why teams weren't trading for Watson, Even though there was a bunch of QB needy teams. Browns didn't get the memo. And worst of all they didn't even get him at a discount price, Both by draft capital they gave up and by the money they paid to extend him. The value they got him for and the money they gave him was as if he was 25 year old that just won the MVP and never had any of these sex related crimes lurking in the shadow.

Everything is optics @ this point,...lol.

In the end Goodell has the final say but with the new appointee instead of just ruling himself,....he's still tippie toeing that fine line IMO so as to keep his name out of the Federal court stuff if and when the PA appeals.

He needs to "look tough." That is the ultimate goal in all of this here.
