Really disappointed in the rams game, but I'm sure he will get better with experience. He did fantastic at the end of the year.

If you only allow 20 against a high powered offensive team like the Rams, a loss is on our offense IMO. Have to find a way to score 21+.

Facts, scoring 17 is unacceptable

When you take 10 minutes to score 7 points there's only so much you can score. That defense got annihilated and manhandled. The rams had almost 400 yards of offense. Compare that to week 18 where it was around 250. 11 3rd down conversions. Embarrassing.

When you don't sustain long drives the Rams possess the ball all day and your D gets spent.

Insanity there are people still out there who dont understand this. by late in the 3rd quarter the Defense started to get gassed.
Get this man better CBs and another legit edge rusher across from Bosa. 😤😤
He is staying one more year!!!!!!!!

Absolutely this. I'm going to start in on all the beat writers to start asking questions in their press conferences about not addressing the cb position especially this year and going forward. (Unfortunately that means contacting Grant Cohn bc he's arrogant but he will certainly ask that question) Hopefully they hear it so much they address it in FA not the draft bc we need a proven cb to play against all the great wrs in our division and conference

Some really good news on a tough day!

DeMeco will only get better as a DC and he's already a pretty good one. I hope we give him a play making safety to compliment Ward and another corner and another pass rusher (can never have enough)

I think McVay just knew us to well from seeing us a third time this season and found a cavity in our secondary. OBJ as I feared was a huge factor and the Rams X-Factor. We have to continue to add to our secondary
I think this loss has given Demeco pause about leaving, we need to make this count.

I think we need to start grooming his replacement, or go out and sign one to whatever title you want.

I feel like I'm in the Looney bin.

The rams 10 minute drive was the THIRD f**kING DRIVE. That's what gassed them. Their second drive was also like 5 minutes that ended with red zone intercepttion. They couldn't get off the field. that's what gassed them. It had nothing to do with the offense this game. f**king excuse after excuse.

still need a maestro to direct the back seven

I'm just of the opinion the talent level isn't up to snuff at CB.

Tartt/Ward are okay and are relatively steady at Safety, though perhaps not as opportunistic as we'd prefer.

But at CB, Moseley is just an average CB. Ambry Thomas, as promising as he is, is still a rookie. K'Waun is a solid nickelback… but against Cooper Kupp and OBJ, I think that was a tough sled for these three once the Rams figured out to rely on a shorter passing game to neutralize our pass rush.

Indeed. You have stars and potential stars in the front 7. But you can work around that to neutralize them. We've got two add two corners, an edge rusher, and another safety. I doubt all will hit, but if we can hit on two, that will help the defense immensely.

Proud of how the defense improved and how they kept the score down, but we are going to have to address the secondary and add another speed rusher.

I also like that DeMeco remained, not just for the team, but for his own growth. Not having to run to the first job dangled his way. He will become so much better as a coordinator and ultimately a better HC later on down the road. Take a look at a guy like McDaniels, in spite of the utter fail that was the Broncos job and how he did the Colts, there was still a job waiting for him. If he maintains his current trajectory, by 2024 not only will he have his pick of jobs, he will also have his pick of GMs, which means he will have the ultimate power in the organization. Kyle Shanahan wouldn't have the set up he currently has if he became a HC in 2009 as opposed to 2017.
Glad he stayed hopefully it'll help us retain a few of the free agents with a one year run it back/prove it deal.
Ryans called a decent game, held the high powered rams to 20pts, my main issue was this ...HOW IN GODS NAME DO YOU NOT DOUBLE TEAM COOPER KUPP?
IM NOT LETTING THE BEST WR IN THE LEAGUE BEAT ME

Another year of 10 yard cushions and linebackers who cant stone a running back. Thrilling.

We need an adult in the room to make our coverage calls. This guy not the one for now.

🙄

Ryans was fantastic this year, especially for a 1st year DC. This D gave up 17, 10, and 20 pts in 3 road playoff games against 3 top tier QB's. Not sure what else you expect.

He actually improved a lot this year and I thought was better than Saleh. With a solid draft of CB and another LB his D will be even better.

LB? We literally have 3 studs there in Warner, Greenlaw, and Azeez. We don't need a LB
I can't imagine the rams with woods on the field with those 2. I hope they can't afford at least one of them next year.
