Waddle getting injured plus Tua being really off definitely helped this D early on, because there were a LOT of wide open dudes in soft zone spots. Then as game dragged on, pass rush started getting to Tua and Tua isn't mobile...it was game over.

It is crazy that we currently have the #1 ranked defense. I say this because we have the best run defense even with Armstead/Kinlaw missing a good portion of games and we lost 2 of our starters at the CB position and have shut out opponents.

Well, i don't know if it was Tua was off, but i sure know WHY he was off….that magnificent D, just gave him a fistful of hurries, sacks, INTs, and definitely hits. Ain't no QB in the league who likes getting hit, not to mention sacked or hurried. And Tua got them all.

I put Tua being off as the D CARRIED THE DAY..That's what it was…Tua just responded (poorly) to Demeco's crew…all of 'em.
