Completely agree. If you can't adapt to the scheme then keep it moving. Could be why he has been hanging around the team so much to see if he is open & willing to learn new things with this talented defense we already have.

What happened on the blown coverage on the Mike Evans TD that got called back because their LT stinks?

I'm interested in this as well. It looked like Ward was expecting to pass it on to someone. Communication error likely. I'm hoping one of the All-22 guys breaks down that non play.

Unfortunately, DeMeco won´t be there next season. He´s so good.
I trust Kyle to find a good DC but it will hard to do better than DeMeco.

Donte Whitner went on record last night and said that this year's Niners defense is "the best in 49ers history" with his squad in 2012 being #2.
2012 was a squad so that's saying something

Man, for a franchise known for offense, we had some amazing defenses.

I have to throw 1984 and 1990s name into the hat.

I would say he is discounting some of the defenses from the 80s.

I think his logic is that defenses in the 80s and 90s could get away with a lot more than defenses these days. Nobody is throwing a roughing the passer flag on that hit by Bosa in 1984.
