I would argue that the 2011 defense was better than 2012's. 2012 started strong, but it wasn't the same after Justin Smith's injury in the New England game where the D played like 90 snaps because of Brady's near comeback. In that playoff run, they gave up a ton of points and the offense played catchup in every game.

True, the 2011 defense was better. Kap and the read-option carried us to the Super Bowl in 2012.

The rumor is Vic Fangio is waiting and will be the DC next.

Fangio finally got his HC experience off his career bucket list and is ready to be a lifer at DC now.
