Depends, they have lots of talent on that defense and some of our ex players. He would definitely need to get someone as a great oc to turn it around. The defense isn't the problem, its their QB situation.

Most openings are going to suck. I guess having Russell Wilson potentially rebound could be the best head start of the jobs available. Colts have no QB, Panthers have no
QB, Texans have no QB, Saints have no QB, Cardinals have the overpaid Kyler mess, etc. Hopefully he doesn't fall for the "Im going to be the savior to my former team and bring a SB to Houston" emotional trap.

If I'm a DC I'm only going to a team with an established QB or at least a promising young one because my OC may get promoted but I want a QB I can trust and that I can win with

I don't think they are going for a defensive minded coach this time. I think they are going to try to find an offensive minded coach that can somehow fix Russell Wilson. Don't think it will work though, but they have to try something.

I agree, they already have a pretty decent defense in place all they really need is a QB. There's gonna be an okay market for a QB, maybe sign Jimmy to jump start your coaching career.
