I'm happy for him, but no interviews until AFTER our season is done.

Team has been shaky as hell on defense lately, especially in the first half. Seems like any team can put up 30 on us now.
Will require Brock to put up 30-45 every game to get to the SB.

None of these available jobs this hiring cycle are any good. If he was smart, take some interviews, gain experience there, and wait until next years cycle.

I didn't see anyone playing "hero ball" this week. That message will continue to be told by Ryans during the playoffs, I'm sure. (First TD, was flukey!)

It doesn't work that way.

Jobs usually don't open up because they are going perfect.

I'd say the jobs are good most rebuilds you get no QB to work with; you got Kyler Murray, Russell Wilson those are elite names, granted they have their issues. Houston has draft capital.

Its so bizarre to me that coaches focused on game planning for thier next playoff game are also up all night creating presentations and talk tracks for HC interviews.
seems counter productive to playoff integrity.

League seems to be slowly creeping towards that direction. Can't interview in person any personnel until after the wild card game now if they're in the play-offs.
That said a team CAN refuse to allow someone to be interviewed while their season is going. It has happened. It's just not normal.
agreed.
would seem like a toxic culture if you are denying people a chance to get promoted.

I deleted my post only because the rules keep changing and I'm not entirely sure what the current rules are.
I think there are limits in place this season that prevent anyone from interviewing in person until the season is over or wildcard game is over.
I believe head coaching positions can be blocked until the season is completely over..but it doesn't happen often.
I don't think anyone should be blocked from interviewing, but I do think it's fair to bar it from happening until the season is over..including play-offs.
Delaying is not denying, imo. And it's unfair to distract someone during the play-offs.

Why? The Texans makes a lot of sense IMO.
Toxic organization and I don't see anyway he goes there after he sued them for an injury he sustained while a player there
That makes sense.
I was just thinking of the roster construction and having the #2 pick. If I was a coach I'd prefer to essentially build a team from scratch than be stuck with Russell Wilson for example.

I have said this on twitter, he cannot take that Broncos job under any circumstance. Russell Wilson is dead weight and will get any HC fired before they can ever establish themselves at their new position. The Broncos gave up a lot of picks for that guy so rebuilding will be even slower. Ryans has take a job like Carolina where he can bring Jimmy G with him and start winning his first season to set himself up for success for the long haul which means job security.

Yeah that's not going to happen.
