If we win this SB it'll be on Brock's arm and CMC's legs.

I mean Geno broke some Wilson records this year, DK and Lockett are damn good receivers. It's playoff football, it's not going to be a walk in the park.

Although the defense had its shaky moments, they did what they ultimately needed......especially second half. Metcalf had a huge game, but other than him they did ok when the coverage wasn't overly soft. 6-13 on 3rd downs is what kept Seattle's offense going.....and some running in the first half. Trying to be objective, Seattle played an above-average game first half, and SF was average without making any killer mistakes. Then, they took over in the second half like you'd want a really good team to do.

Now.....when they don't get a consistent pass rush, we've seen some vulnerability in the secondary......even so, when they can force a turnover or two, that will flip a game as well.

Also, looks like that unsportsmanlike move from Abram on Deebo's ankle didn't help the Seahawks any......saw where Shanahan mentioned it post-game.

All in all, even with some stress, really good win for the 49' ers.
Demeco's 2nd half adjustments are spectacular.
I wouldn't call this a Shut down Defense anymore, but rather a Defense that will create Big moments that will turn the game.

Whether that be a Big sack, strip fumble, or an interception. They will get beat a few times and give up around 15-30 points, but they will also provide the offense with easy opportunities to score.

I think that is just what our defense is now.
#94 Omenihu saved them on the strip near the endzone. Turned the game.

The defense improved overall once Omenihu supplanted Ebukam. Seahawks came out running the ball and throwing short as expected. So what happened for 3 quarters until that game changer.

I said it a few weeks ago. Adjustments need to be made quickly on the fly. If you're getting beat with what you're used to calling change it up a bit. Playoff teams are the good teams. You don't get the Cardinals and Rams of the season in there. Quicker adjustments!

Agreed. I think expectations are way too high. Its the playoffs. Teams are going to put up points. And they are going to see more monster wrs like DK.

Agreed. Has been all year long
We haven't seen a complete game from the defense in a few weeks. Hope it comes the next 3 weeks!

Also as long as they can keep their opponents points to their average which is around 15-17 ppg I'll take it.

Texams that lose coordinators go through this. We aren't special in that regard other than it seems teams like picking from our tree more than others.
I hate 1 interview before a playoff game let alone 4 interviews. The teams better be flying to SF or do them virtual. But we need the picks when he goes

yes that happens, but he doesn't need to go through the interviews at this time.. unless he wants to leave.

I'm more worried on other teams trying to get intel to help others
