That team played a lot of good teams hard this year and there is only room to improve on the previous season's record-wise. You just got to not draft a complete bust when you draft the QB. I personally think Denver is the worst HC opening out of them all (especially for a defensive coach). I think he would be stupid to take the Denver job.

imo much more attractive than the DEN job. #2 pick to take a FQB, and much better cap health. And no corny ass QB that alienates his teammates.
Seems like they have a reasonably competent GM too. OC is going to be absolutely critical for him.
Not to mention the division. I think LVR and LAC is a good coach away from being competent. KC isn't going anywhere. So DEN is a tough job. Whereas the AFC South has IND and TEN looking lost. JAC is on the come up, but Baalke has shown he can tear things down just as quickly as it gets built up.
And Ryans' familiarity with the HOU fanbase can help him earn patience.

I wouldn't be surprised if he stays out for one more year. Would definitely take Houston over Broncos but would think he could do better than Houston, especially if we win the SB.

Demeco is looking for that bag too
to each is own, I suppose anyone would take that money if the price was that you'd be miserable for 4 months of the year.

Gotta wonder who Ryans takes with him
Maiocco had some names he thought would be likely to go with Ryans, including Daniel Bullocks and Bobby Slowik.
Maybe, but I'm sure if Kyle offered Bullocks the D.C. position here he would stay.

I actually think the Texans would be better for Demeco than the Broncos. He wouldn't be tied to that horrible Wilson contract. With Texans having the #2 pick he will get his new franchise QB to work with.

Ryans' interview with Texans went "extremely well," and he has a strong interest in the job, according to league sources, but he has another attractive option he's contemplating after emerging as leading candidate for the Broncos' job per league sources: https://t.co/dmPoIGpkGt

Absolutely. Plus he has ties there. He played there, his wife is from there, he could probably talk ownership into a 6 year contract too.

Texans have Davis Mills. Not sure what his ceiling is but seemed to have enough talent to build around. Has a good arm and mobility. Might saved Demeco from spending a high pick for a qb.

I don't think Davis Mills is the answer. He didn't progress very well last year. I think you pick a QB early and hope you hit it big.

He should try to do it like Kyle. Get RG3 and Cousins. Trey Lance and Brock Purdy

The Broncos may be bracing for the reality that they'll have to pivot from "top candidate" DeMeco Ryans to Plan B. https://t.co/Z9SGwwYqqe
