I actually think the Texans would be better for Demeco than the Broncos. He wouldn't be tied to that horrible Wilson contract. With Texans having the #2 pick he will get his new franchise QB to work with.

Absolutely. Plus he has ties there. He played there, his wife is from there, he could probably talk ownership into a 6 year contract too.

This. And yeah #2 pick assures him one of Young or Stroud, both good prospects

Maybe, but I'm sure if Kyle offered Bullocks the D.C. position here he would stay.

This is what I hope happens. I love how we develop and promote from within. Another young coach/former player that did an excellent job with our safeties like Meco did with our LBs when he was the LBs coach. More opportunities for minorities and to keep the comp picks coming, win win for all

I like it because it wouldn't be a complete overhaul of the scheme like it may be with others.

Texans have Davis Mills. Not sure what his ceiling is but seemed to have enough talent to build around. Has a good arm and mobility. Might saved Demeco from spending a high pick for a qb.

I don't think Davis Mills is the answer. He didn't progress very well last year. I think you pick a QB early and hope you hit it big.

Davis would be good as a backup and a starter in 2023 if DeMeco doesn't want his rookie QB starting immediately.

Agreed. All in with an internal hire.

I wonder if they have been gooming Daniel Bullocks as they did with DeMeco?

Gotta wonder who Ryans takes with him

Maiocco had some names he thought would be likely to go with Ryans, including Daniel Bullocks and Bobby Slowik.

I'd think Darryl Tapp is a goner. If we offer Bullocks the DC job, he stays.

no Vic reunion
Go Ryan's, hope for a huge game today!
York should make Ryans the highest paid coordinator in the league. With a good, HEALTHY QB this team is winning the SB. Besides, the Texans job isn't a good job. They won't be giving him power, and they really want the high school coach to be the coach. They're only going with him because for appeasement. he won't be the real HC.

Stay in San Francisco and hold out for a better situation.
I think he's gone. Good luck

49ers werent a good situation when he came. And usually job openings aren't good situations- that's typically why the job is open.

Only terms, he can still back out if the price is right
If I remember correctly KS specifically wanted more of a Dan Quinn style defense over what Fangios front 7 does. Not sure he would've been the guy. I think it will be Undlin

Gonna miss him, but he deserves a chance to lead a team.

Haha. No Superbowl. No Fangio. DeMeco leaving? That feels like 3 loses in 1 day.
