On another note, I wonder if Kyle would look to Saleh and Ryan's staffs next time he loses one of his top guys. I don't see us getting raided this year (fingers crossed). I basically want the aggressiveness when called for in our D-line back to match the better play that Wilks has brought to our secondary. Example, the disciplined rushing makes sense with a player like Lamar Jackson or Jalen Hurts. But short of guys having that kind of elite running ability, our D-line should be trying to kill any QB back there.

While I agree Meco is a stud, I'd always avoid hiring a defensive coach. When Slowik gets a HC job next year Stroud gets to learn a new offense, and when that OC gets a hc job a few years later, Stroud gets to learn a new offense. No thanks.

Yeah DCs are an easier plug and play than an OC.

More often than not, OC is the way to go. But the blind path will have you missing on some quality coaches. We have seen some really trash offensive guys get shots.
