Saleh would leave AA in there to get abused laterally.
I doubt it. Get ready for some classic AA lowlights.
How can DR possibly be more aggressive and play more man with all these injuries?
He has to tweak whatever plan he had coming into the season that involved relying on Verrett to lock down one side. Since Verrett was playing RCB, usually the weakside of the offensive alignment, Ryans could count on Verrett to lock down the single WR side while he threw numbers (multiple defenders) at the other side of the field. That allowed for creativity. With questions at CB, Ryans' ability to adjust will be put to the test early.
Wouldn't it be easier to use the same plan coming into the season and move Lenoir to RCB
Love Lenior but he isn't Verrett (yet?). Ryans did not shy away from putting pressure on Lenior and Norman to man up the PHI WRs. Or should I say he decided to help them in a different way. Instead of dropping 7 into coverage, he upped the pressure in hopes that his CBs wouldn't have to cover for a long duration. He pushed all the right buttons today.

That was huge, Armstead didn't bite, neither did Tartt & Ward, great stand by the defense.

this weeks practice theme: contain.
Agreed, we need to contain Rodgers, thankfully he's nowhere near as mobile as a Hurts is, get after him, they're without Bahktiari at LT, need Bosa & Dee too tee off on the GB OL.
Can't wait for this game
Same. The silly smirk Rogers had last year after beating us will disappear very fast once he sees we've got a healthy team again.

He's getting better, I tried to warn everybody last week was his first day on the job, I don't know anybody who is brilliant on their first day, we can ask for him to get better as the season goes on

Gotta work on that slow ass safety blitz from Ward. Moght wanna let Tarrt blitz next game. Haven't noticed the slot cb blitz yet. DR needs to work on his timing of blitzes. Run defens still shaky. Dj played well. Fred, Ward, Bosa and Tarrt were lights out. Overall good job.

Our D needs to work on staggered rushes to contain running QBs. Otherwise, the D played great today.

It was really impressive because Philly has the fastest group of WR's outside of KC.

I feel like we did a good job containing him till the end when we we were playing heavy man coverage without a spy
it was a bit annpying watching him run for those yards but i get why we did that it did bleed a lot of time off the clock

I think Demeco had a fantastic game today, and I disagree with everyone who claimed he needed to "bounce back" from last week. Our defense was terrible against the run early against the Lions, and he made adjustments and we were fine for the 2nd half of the game. The final score last week is blinding people from seeing our defense played good football last week. And we played exceptional football this week.
Kudos to Demeco.

I agree, I think he's not getting enough credit. It's still early, and it's also hard to freaking blame him when Norman wasn't ready last week, it was Demo's first game ever, and the garbage time scores were partly on short fields with backups being thrust into the game.

He held this eagles mobile QB offense to 3 points with 4mins left in the game.

Great improvement, but let's not get too excited. Smith stepped put of bounds negating that td. The blocked fg. It could have snowballed. With thatbsaid, I was REALLY impressed how they overcame that sluggish start.
