they already interviewed him last year for the OC position. if they have any clue how to evaluate coaches, they would've recognized he's a great football mind making it a no-brainer to bring him in on the HC opening.

I heard McD does coke with hookers and films it. I don't think MIA wants any more of that, but 49ers are fine with it. (reference to Chris Foerster).

Fuk. Huge blow to our run game if hes gone. He's been with kyle forever. But I'll be happy as hell for the guy if he gets a HC job. He's a very laid back awkward guy and interviewer but may be just what the phins need. Worked out for nick siriani

He is perfectly placed and has a great boss who is one of the real brains in the OCing game. McD is where he should be. I bet it would take a lot for him to want to leave where he is at present. 4 yrs down the road? Different story. But for now, he couldn't be in a better place.

A lot depends on what his aspirations are. If he wants an A++ job, he's got it. Does he know D, STs, drafting, team building, player evaluations, FAing, all that? Some yrs down the pike, perhaps…now…not so much.

As long as we still have Kyle and Bobby Turner, I don't care. Not like these 2 guys can't develop a run game before McD came along.

Also Trey about make us a passing offense next year along with the existing run game.

I like the picks and all but yea, I'd rather keep McDaniel. We saw what the brain drain of the 90s did to us.
