Meh, Raheem is a good dude. He's just trying to back his new teammates.

You can elevate your team without putting others down.

Mostert is also an ungrateful POS. He demanded a trade when he didn't get a raise and then shut himself down for a year after he did get that raise. Had only one good year here and it wasn't even a 1,000 yard season after being an NFL nomad before we finally gave him his big shot. F him.

He's backtracking hard now lol.
He probably won't even play vs us lol. That's the story of his career
Easy to talk trash when you're never on the field.
The Disrespect that he lets his players say about the team that gave them all these opportunities.

Mostert had every right to do what he thought was best for him, and the 49ers had every right to do what they thought was best for their team. Since those goals didn't align it was time for Mostert to move on.

I mean we got ours in punishing him by keeping him under contract (I used the word punished exaggeratively)...
While he felt he was worth more money the year before, he got less while choosing to sit it out.

I mean 1 yr, $3M is certainly not what he was looking for. So a Lose-Lose situation.

It may seem mean to some but it's a big part of how we're able to stockpile talent.

Well Raheem just revealed his true opinion of Jimmy. Not a big deal plenty of NFL people think he's mediocre and continue to. But they don't have more talent, in certain roster spots but not overall.

The 49ers made him. He was a ST player that literally nobody wanted. We have him a chance to play RB and actually earn a big contract. Now hes butthurt that they were annoyed he chose free agency money over winning? Screw both those guys. I hope we embarrass Miami.

Agreed. 100-percent. Shanahan plucked this kid away from NO OTHER TEAM because he wasn't wanted. He then designed an offense around him to showcase his skills. He helped turn Raheem into a star.

How did Raheem respond? By stabbing Shanahan in the back.
It was nice that he walked back and explained his comments on KNBR today. I tend to think he was upset about the injury situation but the reporter took the rest out of context.

He should play CB with those backpedaling skills.

Everyone knows what he said, and what he meant, and now its posted in the 49ers locker room.

Mostert clarified that saying Tagovailoa "can actually sling it" referenced the criticisms his quarterback endured before this season. When the running back arrived in Miami, he learned Tagovailoa could "actually sling it," despite what earlier criticisms indicated.

"I don't know why people are doubting [Tagovailoa] and his ability, [and I wasn't saying] that Jimmy G can't sling the rock or anything like that," Mostert said. "I would never, ever in a million years talk down on a player, specifically a guy like Jimmy, just because we've grown together all those years when I was there. My family is his family. His family is like my family."

Well hopefully it's the extra motivation they need to get this win. I'm a bit worried with how easy the Seahawks last 6 look.
