Lol at Miami even considering firing McDaniel. What a joke of an organization.

So many bad owners in the NFL .. they really hurt the overall product.

Its better to cut ties sooner than later. He had a hot start like many new coaches do, but the way he handled Tua's concussions and the subsequent season collapse was troubling. I don't see him as a very good HC but a great coordinator. Many people here wanted to keep Tomsula even though it was an obvious dumpster fire.

I read somewhere he's like a business owner's son who comes in temporarily to run things during the summer when his dad is on vacation. Accurate.

Agreed. He seems too dorky to be a leader of men but I can definitely see him winning a championship as an OC.

like I've said, to the Jets with Saleh!

Saleh already has Mike LaFleur
Didn't the Dolphins owner try to steal Jim Harbaugh from us? It's the only logical reason I can think of to why they would fire McDaniels, if they don't win this last game. To go for Harbaugh. Because every other reason is just idiotic.

why doubt it.. what if he doesn't like calling plays.. was he the one calling plays this year?

Because I think he would still want to try and prove he's a good OC and play caller and get another HCing job. I guess I shouldn't day doubt it, but I'm wondering if he was offered that type of opportunity, would he take it?

I think I remember that. But I don't think it was a 100 percent commitment. I'd expect him to say something along the lines about staying in case he doesn't get offered a NFL job.

i went back and tried looking for that headline and ran into NCAA violations and that Mich has a clause that can terminate him at will if he committed any violations.. i wonder if it's all JHs plan

Dolphins medical staff is full of follies.

Giving the ok to a severely concussed Tua.
TIS BUT A SCRATCH

Now fins have no backup qbs worth a damn ,with a quarter of a billion dollar receiver ,about to miss the playoffs.

McDaniel returning to Shanahan with his tail between his legs

Nah, McDaniel will sign Jimmy G as a back up. Tua will miss some time some time in the season and McDaniel will save his job and be the man again in Miami.

You really think Jimmy will be a backup again? Sure he's likely to start, but I think Jimmy can get a nice, incentive based deal in the 20s.
who is likely to start?
Barely sneaking in as the 7th seed. Weirdly, going to Buffalo is probably not the worst thing for them since they're a division rival.

Buffalo should win, but that Dolphins team is puzzling. The two fastest receivers in the league and really good runners in Mostert and Wilson. How are they not able to score points, even with their 3rd QB in there?
The Dolphins owner is disappointed he doesn't have an excuse to go after Harbaugh again.
