Nah, McDaniel will sign Jimmy G as a back up. Tua will miss some time some time in the season and McDaniel will save his job and be the man again in Miami.

You really think Jimmy will be a backup again? Sure he's likely to start, but I think Jimmy can get a nice, incentive based deal in the 20s.
who is likely to start?

Jimmy would be likely to start at some point if he backed up Tua. But I think Jimmy can outright earn a starting job somewhere.

It is likely Tua has played his last NFL game. His concussion history is not good. JG goes to Miami and excels with McDaniel.

some of the hits I saw their back up take today, not sure if Tua would've made it through the game.

Probably. My point is that Jimmy doesn't have to be anyone's backup next season.

The Jets would happily take him too.
Damn, Tua is still in concussion protocol a full month later

Man, I think he should think about retirement if its been this long and he's still in the protocol. Touch decisions for Mikey since I think this year they have to decide if they want to pick up his 5th year option if I'm not mistaken.

Those WR's aren't going to like a QB that can't throw deep. Jimmy is better off going to the Jets or back to the Patriots.

I liked how Mcdaniels used Tyreek against the Chargers. Used him in motion so often so the corners couldn't really press him and gave him a running start with him already fast af. Hard to match up that way. I don't even know what our defense would do to try to slow him down lol...
Once Kyle retires or moves to GM, and the Dolphins fire McDaniels, bring him home to the Niners to continue the dynasty
