I wanted Stafford but that's a really high price.
Side note- I really hate the Rams and alway have. Hope this deal blows up in their faces

Yeah, I love this, Stafford is much better than Goff, but how they expect to rebuild that O-Line I don't know, more overpayment.

I wanted Stafford but wow what a draft raping. We better get a good rookie qb to sit behind Jimmy G or I'd prefer Watson for 3 1's and whatever else they want. We have the worst qb in the division now. Great.

We need to win f**king now. Not wait at least 1 year for a rookie to be ready or dominant. Even that may be wishful thinking. Rookie qbs bust all the time.

EVEN if it blows up in their faces, the fact that MCVAY knew that he'll have a better chance getting back to the Super Bowl by trading for Stafford this year, and Jalen the other year while giving all that money to Aaron (deservingly), SO WHAT ??

He can at least say that he got the players of his choice and failed... and got the axed... instead of trying to save all the money, all the picks, and get fired anyhow because he just can't compete.

You gotta give them some props. They swing for the fences. In this qb friendly era, you won't be competitive unless you have a franchise QB. No one knows if Stafford can make that impact, but I can appreciate them pulling that trigger. They're now on top of the West imo.

I'd be down with sending the farm to Houston if we only give them Jimmy G and picks, especially if we can keep drafting well mid to late.

Rams traded 2 first and 2 seconds to draft Goff. Then traded 2 firsts and a 3rd to get rid of Goff.

Exactly! I would've been okay with it. I wonder what they ever saw in Beathard? He was obviously a diamond in the rough to Shanny and others.
