Ain't surprising, if you are watching him play. Teams want to pay big bucks, for good QB play. No team wants to pay big bucks for bleh QB play. They'll end up paying a fortune in dead cap to get his butt out the door.
Where does he end up if they move on ?

Pats?
LV?
NYG?
WFT?
Bears?
Vikings?
Atlanta?

If Snyder was still there I'd bet on Washington

Atlanta as a bridge QB. They have a really good run game and a few receivers that like to get downfield, certainly a far better option than Ridder.

The Falcons, much like most of the other teams on that list, passed on Lamar Jackson last offseason. I cant imagine any of them would rather have Russell Wilson than Lamar.

Your consistency is next-level.

So what? Like games played? Number of specific stats put up in certain categories? They are trying to cheat him by not playing him the last few games? Seems kind of dirty honestly and petty. If they signed the contract they should probably pay it. But I understand he has at times not played well.

No cheating going on. They traded for him, gave up a ton of picks, and gave him a fat contract. Installed him as the face of the franchise. Clubs are welcome to cut players at any time, and eat dead cap. Happens all the time. He's played poorly imo, and isn't the same guy. If he was still operating at a high level, there would be no issue here.

Quite a few fans don't seem to mind paying big bucks for bleh play.

let's get the pulse of the fanbase here and see what they think
*looks like as of now, it's over 2/3rds wanting Russ benched; notice how the he's having a good year crowd, vanished, like a fart in the wind..

You have to remember that Russell was signed March 22 under a different coach and ownership .

ownership changed June 22.

Peyton came onboard Feb 23.

Wilson will get $37 M to go away and may still be able to score a $30 M a year contract on top of that .

The fans are the ones who may be the most upset bc the Broncos are in a way giving up on playoffs this year for $$$.
