Good reference!
The below news came out today...how in the hell can you keep rosters at 53 when you're adding a 17th game to the schedule? Should at least increase the roster size by two to 55:

Tom Pelissero@TomPelissero
NFL owners just approved a 90-man roster to start training camp this year, source said, with cuts to 85 on Aug. 17, 80 on Aug. 24 and 53 on Aug. 31.

It always does.

Rosters should be expanded, but the owners would not want to pay the players more, they'd want to pay less if they could get away with it.

Rosters are paid from Revenue sharing
nfc west this next season is going to be the best division ever. I mean, I don't remember ever having a 4 team division in which all 4 are loaded, stacked teams that could go to sb

Would love to have him back. Hope we sign him.

Well . we need a decent back up tight end. he has not played in a while. a good vet and it turned out well with reed. we need someone, at least he has a nfl resume and we are not spending alot of money. i would gladly give him a shot. we have a glaring need for a decent back up to kittle. rather have him then some putz

That's exactly what I'm thinking. We won't have tp spend a lot of money on a backup TE with starter NFL experience. In a year with a favorable schedule and a SB-ready roster with a SB caliber coaching staff Delany Walker would be an excellent addition.

Totally disagree. He'll bring a ton of value for a SB-ready team.

a ton of value?

the guy has played 1 full season as a titan and only 8 games in the last 3 years. Tenn doesn't have a TE(s).. but Walker is not worth keeping for them

He's just a name from the past

He is not even expected to start, he'd be the TE3 at best. Just coming back home to retire.
Hated when they let Delanie walk to keep Davis, and Vance brick hands was supposed to be Delanie replacement lmao
