And so now, on the same morning, the Chiefs' longtime starting offensive tackles,
Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz, both have been officially released.

Either the Chiefs will be busy during FA, or spending their picks on OT

Why does that anger you?

Because he wants them to give us draft capital for Jimmy so that we can turn around and trade for Deshaun

How much would a 3rd-4th round pick matter in a Watson trade? Outside of Watson Jimmy is our best option next year without him we'd have to spend our 1st to develop an unknown talent during a "championship window" or sign a journeyman qb like Fitzpatrick. Best case for us is to upgrade our OL and hope jimmy doesn't blow out his knee running out of bounds

Personally, I think this is dumb, and will drive more fans to stream without the NFL's consent.

That don't bother me, I just wish somebody other than DirecTV would get Sunday Ticket.

Same here. Or I wish they(whoever has the rights ) would let you subscribe to one team like they did baseball

I wish guys would stop coming into the league with all that big talk. These are grown men, the best in the world at what they do, skilled professionals that work year round to hone their craft. Very few of these guys are just gonna be pushed around and dominated. Especially by a rookie.

It was said that he already blew through all of his contract $$.
What? Did he take my wife's online training course?

Early word is DirectTV will be losing Sunday ticket in 2022 and the NFL will be going into streaming. So the wait is almost over.

I heard that contract runs thru 2022 so that would mean 2023 before any changes. In either case that could be good news or bad. Whoever picks up the rights to stream it is going to ask for a lot because they know the popularity of the NFL. Maybe the league will launch it's own streaming service. Unless it's a pay per view type thing it's going to cost a lot. Amazon required you to become a member in order to get that Thursday night Niner game last season. I cancelled it after the game but that woildn't be an option if you had to use it all the time.

I just heard it on the Pat MacAfee radio show they were discussing the league going to streaming and they looked it up and said 2022. So yeah maybe after 2022 we will finally have choices other than subscribing to dish that is unreliable and way over priced so I can have channels I do not watch with my package.

I don't know how much the NFL makes off the Sunday Ticket but you can bet that whatever they do after that contract expires is going to net them at least as much if not more. They aren't going to give anything away. Streaming is actually less reliable in most places since the speeds can vary. I also heard that some people had issues last year when Amazon streamed the Niner game. They weren't able to pause it or go back and see what they missed. I don't want to subscribe to Amazon prime or some other service but that's probably going to happen. The leagues sole mission is to milk the fans for as much as they can.

I think most of America is already Amazon prime members. I don't think anyone will be able to outbid Amazon and it's pretty clear they have their foot in the door. Hell they could even start charging per game if you don't want to subscribe. Streaming is the future not some dish that can lose reception if the weather gets bad. Expecting people to have high speed internet I just the modern times tbh
