Brown wants to move to LT because he knows that's where the value is and then saw what Trent Williams got paid this off season. And apparently there was no contract extension as part of the trade and Brown plans to play out this season without an extension. He is only 24. So yeah I don't see him signing any contract right now unless the Chiefs just blow him away with an offer. He might want what TW got and is willing to bet on himself. Chiefs could find themselves next year in the same position we were this year. Except we only gave up a 3rd and 5th for Williams.

Maybe brown would be excited by $12 and a half eaten bag of cheetohs that the chiefs could currently give him.

They will extend him to a 120 million dollar contract. 80 mil guaranteed. When people ask how they will be like we shuffled money around

Chiefs can tag him if needed. And with a rising salary cap for next season, they can afford it.

Yeah forgot that they could tag him which is only $14 Million I believe.

Yep they will just kick the can down the road like they have done with all their contracts. Hill will be looking at getting around $25 Million also.
Looking closer at the Chiefs OL now...3/5 of it is really good in OT Brown, LG Thuney & RG Duvernay-Tardif. The rest: big hole still at RT and their new C Blythe is pretty meh. Last year's starting C, Reiter, who also was just so-so (as the playoffs showed), actually graded out better than Blythe per PFF.

Ravens get owned by KC year after year and help them out, cool

I know right. Do you think the Colts with Peyton Manning would have helped the Patriots with Tom Brady? Not a chance. Especially when it is you giving them a quality player at a position that is really the other team's only current weakness at the moment.

Chiefs are desperate to fix that oline right away...Ravens smell awfully fishy here. I have a hunch they win this trade in the end.

It's insane how much they have retooled their O-Line in 1 year but yes, holes at C and RT still.

They actually got good value in that trade.
In a shocking move the Baltimore Ravens will pick up Lamar Jackson's 5th year option. I know not many people were expecting this

Imagine eventually paying a QB that took a major step back in his development as a passer $40+M/yr? Scary.

Dudes playing for the worst passing offensive coordinator in the NFL still right? Probably something to do with it. Sammy Watkins is their #1 :/ I think Lamar should be fine with some upgrades.
RG3 wants 49ers to sign him so he can mentor Trey Lance.

Baltimore is going to be so screwed when they're going to have to pay Jackson a ridiculous contract
