If all their chips were in on DF, they wouldn't have signed Samson.

Even if you could tell the future and knew Ford and Bosa would be healthy, you still need rotational players. I could be wrong, but I don't think we gave Samson starter money.

Even if he's the worst starting DL then I'm ok with that, we have a strong DL IMO, I do think he'll surprise people, he's definitely not the worst EDGE we have.

No it's not like that at all. Rams were pressed right up against the cap and could not afford to keep him. The AA comparison is way off as well. It doesn't really even make sense to say because he would have to be traded and Samson was a FA.

Agree about the Rams cap situation. Also there was a defensive coaching change and possibly Ebukam was no longer a scheme fit for the new Rams DC --- Raheem morris.
